The home was built in 1875 for the Body family. The house was on 5 acres with numerous outbuildings and cottages throughout the grounds and there was a staff of many.
Today Ellstanmor is on a smaller block and is the home of Georg and Allison Froeschl and family. . It still has 11 bedrooms a huge verandah, servant’s quarters, a library, lovely formal entrance, gorgeous French doors everywhere, ornate staircase, off street parking, central heating and some nice garden spaces.
Being in Cooma’s CBD, the house is within a few minutes walk of all facilities that Cooma has to offer. There is the Savoy cinema screening the latest films.
